He was born in Braxton County, a son of the late Earl Siers and Hallie Sampson-Siers-Rider of Nicut. He was a sawmill worker. He is survived by his wife, Neva C. Cottrill-Siers; two sons Donny Lee Siers and Richard Lee Siers, both of Nicut; two brothers , Melvin Siers of Nicut and Pete Siers of Parkersburg; and one sister, Pearl Wildman of Parkersburg.
