He was the son of Sam and Mary Shubin. The other merchant seaman, Leon Williford, 18, of Sharp Park was buried on Wednesday after brief services at the Dutra funeral home here. He was the son of Charles Williford of Sharp Park. Funeral services for the five navy victims of the crash have not been announced by the nave. One of them, George Grassini, 23, was married on July 7 to Edna Hodgkinson of San Francisco, it was revealed by his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Grassini of San Jose. ==================== 7 Die When Auto Plunges Over Cliff HALF MOON BAY, Aug. 29.—VP) —Coroner William Crosby reported the bodies of five sailors and two civilians, dead apparently two weeks, were recovered from the wreckage of an automobile at the base of a 200 foot cliff on the Coast Highway near Point Pedro below Sharp Park. Headquarters of the 12th Naval District identified the sailors. They included: John William Schwartz, Jr., seaman first class, Milwaukee, Wis. Hal Lewis Blakeslee, gunner's mate third class, Los Angeles Floyd Russell Cremeans, baker second class, Columbus, Ohio Braxton Garnett Nutter, seaman first class, Elizabethtown, Tenn. The two civilians were tentatively identified as Walter Schubin, San Francisco merchant seaman and Leon W. Williford, Sharp Park.
