Description	:	Warren Clyde Hall, one of four children of Judge James M. Hall and Josephine (Atkinson) Hall, was born on November 29, 1892, in Nelson, Nebraska. He was called by the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 1988, from the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 4 days. Read More	Warren Clyde Hall, one of four children of Judge James M. Hall and Josephine (Atkinson) Hall, was born on November 29, 1892, in Nelson, Nebraska. He was called by the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 1988, from the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 4 days. Warren attended the Nelson public school system and had the honor of being a member of the schools first football team. He married May Pearl Eno in Nelson on November 20, 1913, at the home of her grandparents. In 1916 Warren was elected County Clerk for six year (sic), after which he and his wife traveled west to Los Angeles, California, for one year where he worked as a night checking clerk in a bakery. Warren loved to travel. He and Pearl traveled to such diverse places as Canada, Mexico, and Panama as well as 47 of the 50 states. But Nelson was home. The Hall residence today is on the same ground where Warren was born. For many years he has been in the implement and automobile business and is well known over Nuckolls County. Warren has been a member of the United Methodist Church for 50 years, a member of the Nelson Masonic Lodge for 50 years servings as secretary for 38. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Nelson Chapter), was secretary of the Nelson Cemetery Board for many years, played in the Nelson town band, and was a volunteer fireman. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, his daughter June (Mrs. Louis) Burch, his brother Claude, and his sisters Jessie Erwin and Maude Reeder. Survivors to mourn his passing are his loving wife of near 75 years May Pearl of Nelson; their two daughters, Irene (Mrs. Frank) Riggs of Prescott, Arizona, and Carol (Mrs. Norland) Melvin of Angus; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 6, 1988, at the Nelson Community United Church of Christ with the Reverend Dick Ludden of Lincoln officiating. Serving as bearers were Steve Melvin, Barry Melvin, Don Burch, Duane Meyer, Garth Melvin and LeRoy Schott. Music was provided by James Hanson and Joe Ferebee, who sang "How Great Thou Art" with Myrtle Worley accompanying them. Burial was at the Nelson Cemetery.
