Read More	Columbia City Commercial-Mail - Whitley County, Indiana Thursday November 5, 1925 Warren Marrs, a life long resident of Troy township died at his home Wednesday night at 10:30, the result of tetanus or lockjaw, which developed after he had injured his hand in a windmill. Mr. Marrs caught his hand in the windmill while making some repairs and blood poisoning developed. Dr. Beahl of Fort Wayne was called in to the Marrs home in consultation with Dr. L. W. Tennant but medical aid seemed to be of no avail. Mr. Marrs was a Republican in politics and served his township as trustee for four years and as an assessor for eight years. He was born on the farm where he died and at his death was aged 73 years 3 months and 3 days. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John Marrs. Surviving are the widow, formerly Miss Catherine Palmer of Troy township to whom he was married 46 years ago last January 9th and six children, Clyde Marrs of Mead, Kas; Carl Marrs of Dayton, Oh; Mrs. Neva Egolf and J. L. Marrs of Fort Wayne; Harley Marrs and Mrs. Grace Snodgrass of Troy twp; also ten grandchildren and two brothers and one sister, Frank Marrs of Mead, Kas; Alva Marrs of Troy twp and Mrs. Mattie Brenneman of Providence, Va. There is one great-grandchild deceased. The deceased for many years held a membership in the I.O.O.F. order at Larwill. Funeral services will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Gail Davis of Etna and Troy M. E. churches will officiate. Interment in the Adams cemetery in Troy township.
