Description	:	Wayne D. Potts, 76, of Delphi, died on July 8, 2019 at the Carmel St. Vincent Heart Center. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Mulberry, IN to the late Charles Franklin Potts and Eva Marie (Denton) Potts. Potts, 76, of Delphi, died on July 8, 2019 at the Carmel St. Vincent Heart Center. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Mulberry, IN to the late Charles Franklin Potts and Eva Marie (Denton) Potts. On July 8, 1963 in Chamlers, IN, he married Mary Ann Miller; she passed away in February of 1969. Then on June 21, 1970 at the Delphi United Methodist Church, he married Patricia J. "Pat" Anderson; she survives. Wayne had lived in the rural Idaville, IN area most of his life and was a 1961 graduate of Burnettsville High School. He is a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church and the White County Antique Tractor Association. Wayne was a former member of the Monticello United Methodist Church and had taught Sunday School for several years. He was the coach of the Monticello United Methodist Church Dartball Team for several years. Wayne had helped at the White County Food Pantry for several years. He was a mechanic at the former Kenny Implement in Monticello for several years and numerous other jobs through out the area. Wayne was a "jack-of-all-trades". Most of all, Wayne loved his antique tractors. As a salute to Wayne, the White County Antique Tractor Association will be leading the funeral procession to the cemetery. Wayne would appreciate everyone wearing their farm clothes. He is survived by his second wife; one son; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents and first wife, Wayne was preceded in death by four sisters, Gladys Potts, Ruth Martin, Mary Lossing and Ruby Tam; one brother-in-law; and two sister-in-laws. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Pastor Todd Ladd and Pastor Ben Beeks of the Delphi United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in IOOF Riverview Cemetery.
