His age was 56 years, 5 months and 12 days. Wenzel M. Parker was born at Hazel Green, Wisconsin, October 18, 1876. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Parker, his father, was a veteran of the civil war and widely known in Plymouth County. Wenzel Parker attended schools in this county, helped on the farm and followed the pursuit of farming all his life. He enjoyed a large acquaintance and was widely known in the west part of this county and highly regarded as a good citizen and neighbor, as well as a kind and devoted husband and father. He leaves to mourn his departure his widow, Mrs. Lizzie Parker; a daughter Iola; three brothers and Three sisters, William and Peter Parker, of Akron; Raleigh Parker, of LeMars; Mrs. Annie Oakes of Westfield, Mrs. Kate Moore, of Akron, and Mrs. John Butler, of this county; also 14 step-children. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon in the U.B. church at Adaville, Rev. N. A. Hollingshead conducted the service. Interment was in the Pleasant Valley cemetery at Adaville.
