Description	:	Mrs. Wiebke Magretha Magdalena Einspahr was born December 5, 1841, at Wesselbuhren, Holstein, a northern province of present day Germany. Her parents were Peter C. and Anna Katherina (Heuer) Einspahr, from who she received her Christian training. At the age of twelve years, she came to America, with her parents, a brother, and two sisters. The family settled at Blue Island, Illinois. There another brother and two sisters were born. Read More	Mrs. Wiebke Magretha Magdalena Einspahr was born December 5, 1841, at Wesselbuhren, Holstein, a northern province of present day Germany. At the age of twelve years, she came to America, with her parents, a brother, and two sisters. The family settled at Blue Island, Illinois. There another brother and two sisters were born. On February 14 1864, "Lena" amrried her cousin, Hans Friedrich Einspahr. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend C.H. Loeber. In March 1883 "Lena" and "Fred" and their children moved to Adams County, Nebraska, where they engaged in farming. On February 14 1914, Mr and Mrs Einspahr had the honor of celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. "Fred" passed away on July 3 1920. Mrs. Einspahr always was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church. In her later year she was unable to attend divine services, but during her last summer she was in church twice to her joy and edification. She was always thankful when the Word of God was brought to her. In her declining years, Mrs. Einspahr suffered much the failites of old age, but the worse " I fear no evil, for Thou art with me" were her comfort. Thus she feel asleep peacefully on Monday, January 27 1930, having reached the old age of 88 years, 1 month, and 22 days. Her funeral services were conducted from Zion Lutheran Church in Wanda Township, on Saturday afternoon, February 1 1930, in both English and German. Reverend Aruthur W. Wilk presided over the service. Her mortal remains were gently laid to rest in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, where thy will rest in peace until that great day when Jesus Christ her Lord will return.
