Description	:	Wilda F. (Walker) Boggs, 89, of Ottumwa, died at 5:10 p.m. July 3, 2012, at The Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa. She was born May 27, 1923, in Davis County, to James and Mabel (Spurgeon) Walker. She married James F. Boggs on Feb. 14, 1943. They moved to Ontario, Calif., in 1962. They were divorced in 1977. Wilda attended Davis County High School and worked at the John Morrell and Company during World War II. Surviving is her son, Jack Boggs and his wife Sue, of Bloomfield; her daughter, Toni Palmer of New Berry Springs, Calif.; four grandsons, James (Bubba) Boggs, Billy Boggs, Tim Guy and Joe Guy; and three great-grandchildren, Riley Boggs, Logan Boggs and Imogen Guy. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters. Her body has been taken to Robertson-Jay Funeral Home and has been cremated. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at The Good Samaritan Society for the care and friendship Wilda received while residing at their facility located in Ottumwa. Memorial donations may be made to The Good Samaritan Society Ottumwa.
