Description	:	Wilfred Jacob Budler, son of Anton and Katnerine Steffgen Budler, passed away June 7, 1961, at Community Hospital, Jacinto City, Tex., following an illness of seven months. He was aged 59 year, 2 months and 6 days. He was born April 1, 1902 at Phillips, Nebraska, moving to Fillmore County with his parents in 1914. He was reared in the county and received his education in the Grafton, Fairmont and Geneva communities. Read More	Wilfred Jacob Budler, son of Anton and Katnerine Steffgen Budler, passed away June 7, 1961, at Community Hospital, Jacinto City, Tex., following an illness of seven months. He was aged 59 year, 2 months and 6 days. He was born April 1, 1902 at Phillips, Nebraska, moving to Fillmore County with his parents in 1914. He was reared in the county and received his education in the Grafton, Fairmont and Geneva communities. He was united in marriage to Ruby Nondorf May 28, 1924, at St. Helena Catholic Church in Grafton. Tho this union were born three children. The family first made their home in Geneva, moving to Seward in 1937. They returned to Geneva in 1942 and Wilfred entered business. The family moved to Portland, Ore., in 1951, then moved to Houston, Tex., in 1953, residing there at the time of his death. Besides his wife Ruby, he is survived by a son, Robert, in the U.S. Navy, Corpus Christi, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. J.C. (Dorothy) Johns of Galena Park, Tex., Mrs. Robert (Doris) Yates of Pasadena, Tex.; one daughter-in-law; two sons-in-law; six granddaughters; three grandsons; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Budler of Fairmont; four brothers, Clarence of North Platte, Wayne of Hebron, Louis of Fairmont and Bernard of Bradshaw; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Pontine of Saronville and Mrs. Cecil Perkins of Exeter; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited Friday evening, June 9, at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva. A high requiem mass was sung Saturday, June 10, at 10 o'clock at St. Helena Church in Grafton with Rev. Thomas Kadlec officiating. Jim Budler, Joe Budler and Robert Perkins, nephews served as altar boys. Pallbearers were friends, Paul O'Connor, Frank Hoarty, Clifford Wilson, Glen Murrell, Paul O'Brien and Leonard Reinsch. burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Grafton.
