Description	:	William F. Boeck, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boeck was born October 23, 1881 at Humbolt, Nebraska and passed away Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital at Alliance at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 16 days. He grew to manhood in the Humbolt community and in 1903 went to Cherry County where he later homesteaded and built him a ranch 10 miles northeast of Ashby, Nebraska. Boeck, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boeck was born October 23, 1881 at Humbolt, Nebraska and passed away Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital at Alliance at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 16 days. He grew to manhood in the Humbolt community and in 1903 went to Cherry County where he later homesteaded and built him a ranch 10 miles northeast of Ashby, Nebraska. He never married and lived alone except for 11 years when his nephew, Harold Almond of Parker, South Dakota lived and was in partnership with him. In late 1949 they dissolved partnership and Bill retired from ranching and leased his range ground but continued living there. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In 1953 he was injured in a car accident from which he never fully recovered. Since that time he had been in and out of the hospital. When not in the hospital he lived with a niece and her husband, Emma and Ed Grimes at Alliance. He fell and broke his hip the latter part of April of this year and re-entered the hospital remaining there until his death. He leaves to mourn his passing one sister Mrs. Ricka Klein of [sic,nothing entered] and a brother Herman Boeck, neither were able to attend the services due to poor health.
