Description	:	The Tecumseh Chieftain, Sept. 2, 1948: "Mrs. Wilhelmine Rinne passed away at Elk Creek at about 8:45 p.m., on Friday, August 27, 1948. Her age was 78 years, 5 months and 22 days. Wilhelmine Maria Kettelhake was born on March 5, 1870,near Steinauer and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. On February 11, 1893, she was united in marriage to William Rinne, who precede her in death on April 10, 1917. Mrs. Rinne had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clara Beethe of Elk Creek, since the spring of 1927. She had been a life-long... She is survived by her children, Mrs. Carl (Emma) Schwarz of Arriba, Colo., Arthur Rinne of Beatrice and Mrs. Clara Beethe of Elk Creek; two step children, Mrs. Wilhelmina Beethe of Tecumseh and Emil Rinne of Steinauer; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anton Bickel of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. August Fitz of Argonia, Kans., and Mrs. J. C. Schmidt of Lincoln; and two brothers, Henry and Herman Kettelhake of Steinauer. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter in Elk Creek and at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran church of Elk creek. Burial was in the cemetery by the church."
