Read More	WILLIAM A. CHRISTY DIED IN BALTIMORE Had Moved There Last Fall To Make City His Home Funeral Services To Be Held This Afternoon William A. Christy, for many years a resident of Crisfield and well known as a seafood dealer, died at his home in Baltimore Tuesday morning. Since last fall, he and his wife had been making their home in Baltimore, having moved there from Crisfield. He was the son of the late John Christy and Mary Marshall Christy, and was 73 years of age. Twice married, his first wife was the former Ida Jane Mister, and the mother of his children. His second wife, who survives, is Mrs. Lula Pearl Christy. Capt. Bill was one of several brothers who were successful seafood packers for years. They were engaged in shedding crabs when the crab business was a great industry here and in packing oysters in the years when oysters were plentiful and the output in Crisfield ran into many thousands of gallons annually. He had operated an oyster shucking house here for several years before he left last fall to make his home in Baltimore. Well liked, with many warm friends, his death is mourned by all who knew him. His body was brought to Crisfield in the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors ambulance and rested at the home of his sister, Mrs. Kate Mason, on First street, from where the funeral services will be held this Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. H. Shaw, Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, and Rev. Melvin E. Wheatley. Burial will be in the Crisfield Cemetery. Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Ira, Oscar, and Milton Christy, all of Crisfield, one daughter, Mrs. Marie Adams, of Baltimore, a sister, Mrs. Kate Mason, of this city, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
