The deceased was the eldest son of the late Spencer Boyd, and was one of the most highly respected and solid citizens of this community. His word was as good as a bond and his sterling worth was recognized by all who knew him. Read More	Died, in Chelan, Sep. 16th, William L. Boyd, aged about 36 years, of typhoid fever. The deceased was the eldest son of the late Spencer Boyd, and was one of the most highly respected and solid citizens of this community. His word was as good as a bond and his sterling worth was recognized by all who knew him. Cut off in early manhood, just when he was beginning to get into good condition financially to enjoy life with his family, he leaves a widow and five children – four sons and one daughter – a widowed mother, two sisters, Mrs. G. S. Roland and Mrs. Minnie Carpenter and a brother, Elmer Boyd, besides a legion of sorrowing friends and neighbors to mourn their irreparable loss. His wife and daughter are still very ill with the same disease, but it is hoped the shock of his decease will not cause a relapse to the stricken wife.
