Description	:	William Anderson Shroyer, son of Andrew and Susan Anderson Shroyer, was born December 23, 1889, in Fillmore County, Nebraska. He departed this life at the Henderson Community Hospital, April 17, 1964, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Grace Stella Kleinschmidt, May 7, 1919, and they established their home on the farm where Mr. Schroyer was born. They remained there until the time of his passing. Read More	William Anderson Shroyer, son of Andrew and Susan Anderson Shroyer, was born December 23, 1889, in Fillmore County, Nebraska. He departed this life at the Henderson Community Hospital, April 17, 1964, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Grace Stella Kleinschmidt, May 7, 1919, and they established their home on the farm where Mr. Schroyer was born. They remained there until the time of his passing. There were born to this union two sons and one daughter. Mr. Shroyer farmed all his life until failing health forced his retirement. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of American more than fifty years. He leaves his wife, Grace; a son Darrel and wife, Emily, of Los Angeles, Cal., a son, Glen and wife, Carol of Helix, Ore.; the daughter, Mildred, Mrs. Francis Finnegan and husband of Norwalk, Cal. Also surviving are one brother, Fred of Long Beach, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. Greta Kleinschmidt of Lincoln, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George and Clarence. The memorial service was held from the Grafton United Church of Christ, Sunday, April 19, at 2:30 and was in charge of Rev. Maude V. Mann. The hymns were sung by Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hall, accompanied by Mrs. Roy Warren. Interment was in the Grafton cemetery. Bearers were Otto Klundt, Jacob Klundt, Carl Schaldecker, Albert Arp, Lawrence Trautman and Harold Trautman. The Nebraska Signal 23 April 1964 page 14
