Description	:	Funeral services are being held this afternoon, Wednesday, at Messiah Lutheran church at Greene, for William B. Siebert, longtime resident of that area. Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Rev. Mr. Ralph E. Rowe of Mohall will officiate. He will be assisted by Rev. Mr. Canton Franzen of Tolley. Burial will be in McKinney cemetery with the Dahle Funeral Home of Mohall in charge of arrangements. Reviewal prior to services only. Mr. Siebert passed away at the, Mohall hospital Dec. 21, after a two year illiness. He was born April 28, 1876, in New York City. After the death of his parents when he was eight years old, Mr. Siebert was reared by foster parents at Rankin, III. He went to Minnesota in 1902, where on Nov. 23, 1904, he was married to Louisa E. Wanner at Wiilmar. They came to North Dakota the same year and filed on a homestead near Greene, where they have lived continuously. Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Siebert. A son Albert died in infancy. Survivors include Mrs. Siebert and the following children, Çatherine, Mrs. Math Schoemer; Bertha, Mrs. Peter Essler; Irene, Mrs. Arthur Hedlin, Kenmare; Lester, farming near Tolley; Louis, at home; Ruth, Mrs. Walter Erdman, Willow City; Alice, Mrs. Phillip Halvorson, Mohall; Luella, Mrs. Lloyd Armstrong, Sherwood; Wm. B. Siebert, Jr. Minot. There are 23 grandchildren and four brothers also surviving. For 32 years Mr. Siebert served as secretary of the board of directors of the Farmers Elevator at Greene, and served on the Roosevelt township school board. He was active in organizing the Registered Holstein Cattle Breeders group in the Greene community and served the organization as secretary for many years.
