DeVoll, 91, former resident of the Rocky Fork area, where he engaged in farming, died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday in the home, 76 Fulton Avenue. The son of Henry and Sarah (Moore) DeVoll, he was born May 14, 1869 in Mary Ann Township, Licking County, and was the last of his family. The son of Henry and Sarah (Moore) DeVoll, he was born May 14, 1869 in Mary Ann Township, Licking County, and was the last of his family. His death followed that of his wife Mary Etta (Pound) DeVoll whom he married in 1891, by ten weeks. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. William B. Donaldson, Mrs. Jesse Walker and Mrs. Earl I. Moran of Newark and Mrs. John W. Baker of Rain Rock area; also 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Two daughters are deceased, also a sister and two brothers. He was a member of Rocky Fork Church of Christ. Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph A. Garshaw conducting the services. Interment in Rocky Fork Cemetery.
