Read More	EDGAR MCCREADY DIED SUDDENLY FUNERAL SERVICES HELD ON WEDNESDAY Mr. William Edgar McCready, prominent electrical contractor, died at his home on the old State Read near Mariners last Sunday evening. He was 63 years of age. Mr. McCready was sitting at the dinner table, and it was thought by his wife and daughter that he was dozing. A sudden heart attack, however, had caused his death. He had suffered a rather severe heart attack several years ago. He was the son of the late Asbury F. and Nancy Belle McCready, and the husband of Mrs. Edna May McCready. For most of his life Mr. McCready had been an electrical contractor, and had installed electric wiring and electrical appliances in many homes in the community. He was an expert in his line, having a thorough knowledge of all elements of the business. A sociable and kindly man, he was well liked and held in high esteem by his large circle of friends and acquaintances. He was always ready and eager to be helpful to anyone in sorrow and distress, and was generous and sympathetic to those in trouble. News of his sudden death came as a great shock to relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at his home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. L. E. Werner, pastor of Asbury Methodist Church officiating, assisted by Rev. John R. Diehl, pastor of Mariners Methodist Church. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Novella M. Ward of Crisfield, one son, Robert H. McCready of Annapolis, Md., two sisters, Mrs. F. Doyle Tyler and Mrs. Samuel Saltz of Crisfield, two brothers, Lloyd McCready and Elwood McCready, both of Crisfield, and five grandchildren.
