He was born October 31, 1925 in Buena Vista, son of the late John Douglas Jenkins and Corrine Blackwell Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a member of the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He has been retired for several years.
