Enberg Died Friday Night in County Hospital Funeral services were held in the Jackson funeral home for Will Enberg, who died Friday night in the county hospital at Webster City. Mr. Enberg had been confined to his home and partially crippled as the result of a stroke a few years ago, but on Tuesday of last week he sustained a second stroke and was immediately removed to the hospital for treatment. He seemed to rally slightly at first but soon began to grow worse until his death. The services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. E.A. Cochell and burial took place in Oakwood cemetery. Stratford Courier January 13, 1949 William Enburg William Enburg, son of George and Elizabeth Enburg, was born Feb. 23, 1868, on a farm north of Stratford, and departed this life Jan. 1, 1949, in the county hospital at Webster City, Iowa, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 10 days. He had been in poor health for some time as the result of a stroke and had a second stroke a few days before his death. He was baptized in the Methodist faith. Mr. Enburg was united in marriage to Elsie Beightol and to this union one daughter, Helen, was born. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen, Jan. 9, 1907, and by his wife on March 8, 1945; also four brothers and one sister. He is survived by one brother, Albert, of Lehigh, and a sister, Anna Perry, of Omaha, Nebr. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 4, at 2 o'clock, in the Jackson funeral home, conducted by the Rev. E.A. Cochell. Songs for the services were sung by Mrs. E.J. Johnson, with Mrs. Ronald Bell as accompanist. The remains were interred in Oakwood cemetery. The pallbearers were: Ronald Bell, Rudy Gustafson, Fred Olson, Wesley Peterson, L.E. Brandt and Jim Shelton.
