Everett Bradshaw, prominent farmer of Lawson's District, died suddenly in the McCready Hospital here Monday afternoon of a heart attack. He had suffered a heart attack earlier in the day and had been removed to the hospital for treatment, and succumbed to the second attack. He was 71 years of age. Mr. Bradshaw was the son of the late Aaron T. and Elizabeth Franklin Bradshaw, and was born and raised in the Hopewell neighborhood. His home place was the Pine Grove Farm, where he and his family had lived for many years. Known for his progressive farming methods and for his generosity, Mr. Bradshaw had warm friends and a wide acquaintanceship in all parts of Somerset county. He was always interested in better things for his county and neighborhood, and being of an old Democratic family, for years took on active part in politics in the county and state, and was regarded as a leader of great influence. A cordial, courteous and affable man, he performed many services for neighbors and friends, and he was kind to the poor, and never was too busy to offer aid whenever he knew aid was needed. Mr. Bradshaw loved his church, old St. Peter's Methodist, and was a member of its Official Board and regular in contributing his time and money to help further its efforts to spread the Gospel. A good citizen in every way, Mr. Bradshaw had the respect and the affection of hundreds of people who appreciated his fine, manly qualities, and who were happy to call him friend. He reposed at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors until Wednesday, when funeral services were held in St. Peter's Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. John R. Diehl. Interment was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Bearers were Jesse Long, Freely Nelson, Olin Bradshaw, Harry Coulbourn, Roger Miles and John Long. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Ella Gillette Bradshaw, four sons, William Bradshaw and Royce Bradshaw of near Hopewell, Everett C. Bradshaw of Baltimore, and Ernest Bradshaw of Wilmington, Del., two sisters, Mrs. Helen Pennewell of Jersey City, N.J., and Mrs. Manie Franklin of near Hopewell, a brother, John G.
