Read More	William Jack Logan Sr. passed away May 21, 2019 William (Bill) was born in Houston, Texas on September 6, 1928. He was the youngest child of Virgil and Clora (Cogbill) Logan. Bill attended San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas and graduated in 1947. On September 14, 1948 he enlisted in the Air Force. Bill received training as a Radar Mechanic and Technical instructor and worked in these fields until his separation in 1953. During his military career he was stationed in Fairbanks Alaska and it was here that he met and married Marie Louise Rotter, his late wife of 67 years. During their life together, they had 6 children; Glenn Alan, Steven Edward, Jane Etta, Kimberly Anne, Benjamin Andrew (died at 6 months) and William Jack Logan, Jr. After leaving the military, William worked as a electrical contractor and instruction for Collins Electronics in California. Over the years William and Marie spent time in Washington, Montana, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Florida. While in Arkansas, William served as an Executive Boy Scout Master with the De Sota Boy Scout Council in El Dorado. In 1966 William finished his degree in Divinity from Southern Methodist University and was ordained as a minister in the Methodist Church. In 1967, William moved his family to Florida to take a pastorate at Christ Independent Methodist Church in Palatka. In 1979, William left Florida, moving to Kansas City, Missouri and started working as a sale representative for A Beka Books selling Christian school books in a five state region. After leaving A Beka Books, William took on several sales positions including Montgomery Wards, IDS Financial Services, Van Chevrolet and several other car dealerships in the Kansas City Area. During his retirement he worked for Quick Silver Limousine service among other companies until landing a job at Sprint. He finally retired from the workforce in 2005 and began writing for an online blog with his son, Bill Jr. William is survived by his children and his brother Charles Edward Logan of Houston, Texas. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, Jessica (James) Story, Alan (Danielle) Logan, Joshua (Allison), Jeremiah (Jennifer), Seth and Heather Logan and Connor and Emma Logan. He leaves seven great grandchildren, Landrum and Amylie Watts, Jacob Logan, Gillian, Eamonn and Ciaran Logan and Riley Logan. William will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
