This is probably from the Daily, Mail, Hagerstown, Maryland, 5 Sep 1898. The 1900 census indicates that Emma Zittle was the mother of five children; four of them living. She was working as a servant in Waynesboro, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania. (Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, borders Washington Co., Maryland.) "Mrs. Emma Alice Sexton, resident of Marne vicinity [Cass Co., Iowa] [...] daughter of Abraham Sigler, was born Oct. 20, 1861, in Sharpsburg, Md., and was married Feb. 4., 1883, at Hagerstown, Md., to William McClelland [sic ] Zittle, who died Sept. 3, 1899 [sic ]. She was married to Joseph Hartley Sexton, Feb 4, 1915 [...] The surviving children are Mrs. George [Virtie] Sitler of Oregon, Ill., and Robert Zittle of Springfield, Ill.
