Description	:	William Norris Cramblit Sr. William Norris Cramblit, 77, above, veteran Ottumwa clothing merchant, died about 12:10 a.m. today at Ottumwa Hospital following a lingering illness. His home is at 326 West Golf Avenue. The son of John and Sophia Cramblit, he was born in Wapello County, July 13, 1876. After attending public schools here, he became associated with the J.B. Cramblit was active in the business until 1950 when he retired because of ill health. He was married to Zillah Sallee who died in 1907. On August 18, 1913, he married Miggie MacKenzie in Ottumwa. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, William Cramblit, Jr., and David Cramblit, both of Ottumwa, and Lue Donald Cramblit of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. J. Whitney Foster, Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Peter F. Dunne, Cheyenne, Wyo.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Cramblit, Eddyville, and Webb Cramblit, Ottumwa, and a sister, Mrs. John Swenson, Colorado Springs, Colo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Coleman in 1950, his parents, and four brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be at the First Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Paul M. Hann, D.D., pastor. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery. The body will remain at the Johnson Funeral Chapel until 9 a.m. Tuesday when it will be removed to the church. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. OTTUMWA COURIER
