Mr. Grace was born in Columbus, O., Nov. 18, 1874, a son of Mr. and Mrs. McFarland Grace. The family came to Nebraska when he was five years old, settled near Dunbar in Otoe county and later moved to Bennet in eastern Lancaster County. He was married to Miss Genevra M. Stokley Sept. 5, 1889 at Panama. They lived in Lincoln a few years, before moving May 30, 1905 to Archer. With the exception of 3 1/2 years in Big Springs and 14 months in Lincoln, they continued to live in the Archer community until May 1, 1958 when they retired and moved to a home in Central City. Mr. Grace in 1911 built the only garage and machine shop in Archer and continued the operation 29 years before failing health prompted him to take up farming. He retired from farming in 1956. He was a member of Lone Tree Lodge No. 36, AF&AM at Central City. Survivors include his wife; one son, Cecil C. Grace, Central City; two grandchildren, Donald L. Grace, Miller, S. D., and Mrs. Darlene Hosick, Alma; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Smith, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Hittie Brings, Central City, and Mrs. Ortha Gillham, Peetz, Colo; two brothers, Leslie Grace, Santa Ana, Calif., and Lowen Grace, Oroville, Calif. *********** Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Park Grace - Mr. and Mrs. William Parker Grace, resident of Merrick County for 44 years will celebrate the Golden Anniversary of their marriage Monday, September 5th. To honor the event "open house" will be held that evening at their farm home 5 miles west, 2 miles north of Central City, or 2 miles east, one mile south of Archer from 7 until 10 o'clock in the evening. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to call without further invitation. Mr. Grace and his bride Genevra Mae Stokley were married in Panama, Nebr., September 5, 1899. They resided in Lincoln until May 1905 when they moved to Archer where he built a garage in 1911 and operated it until 1928 when they moved to the farm. Mr. Grace was born in Columbus, Ohio, November 18, 1874. Mrs. Grace was born at Brownville, Nebr., January 5, 1880. Both are in fair health. They have one son, Cecil and two grandchildren, Donald and Darlene Grace of Palmer....
