Description	:	W. PLATT GREER W. Platt Greer, 75, of 1533 Shawnee Rd., died 4:40 a.m. today in his residence. Born July 18, 1893, in Wildwood, Pa., he was the son of John Wesley and Elizabeth Platt Greer. Surviving are his wife, Reid; a son, C. Blake Greer of 2988 Makley Dr.; a stepson, Robert K. Young of 1542 Putters Lane; and four grandchildren. Mr. Greer retired from Universal Atlas Cement Co. in 1958. He was also a director of the Ohio Sand and Gravel Co., and the Ohio Turnpike and Highway Association, a member of the Ohio Contractor Association, and secretary-treasurer of the Wapak Sand and Gravel Co. and Central Concrete and Supply Co. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. Wilbur Goist officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. Thursday.
