Moll residence, 519 Wildwood drive. The son of Clay and Nancy Eslinger Goodwin, he was born October 14, 1879, in Wapello county. He had lived in Ottumwa about 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Lula; three sons, Leo, Sherman and Milo Goodwin, all of Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs. Luella Lewis and Mrs. Irene Randolph, both of Ottumwa; a step-son, William McCloskey, Kansas City, Mo.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Morgan, Sioux City; 23 grandchildren, and a brother Eb Goodwin, Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. W.B. Friend of the Pentecostal church. Burial will be at Shaul cemetery.
