Will Donahoo committed suicide yesterday morning by hanging himself at his father's home north of Nelson He had been leading a dissipated life and for some time had been in a poor state of health and became despondent He had frequently made the remark, "I am no good anywhere and I'm going to hang myself." His folks paid little attention to these threats as they had became an old story. Yesterday morning he helped separate some cream and when he got through he said, "that's the last time I'm going to help to do that. I'm going to hang myself" He went to his room and made good the threat. He tied a rope to a joist above the bed (the room had not been ceiled (sic)) and after he had made th (sic) other end fast to his neck, he jumped over the bed and strangled himself. Some time had elapsed when he was discovered by the folks and when the body was taken down it was lifeless. Coroner Robinson was sent for. He went out and the evidence of suicide being so evident it was decided by him to be useless to go to the expense of summoning a coroner's jury to hold an inquest The body was prepared for burial by the undertaker and will be brought here to-day for interment in the village cemetery. William T. Donahoo was born in Chester county (sic), Pennsylvania, November 24, 1860, died in Nuckolls county (sic), July 19 (sic), 1903, being 42 years, 8 months and 5 days. Came to Nuckolls county (sic) in 1873; enlisted in the U.S. service, at Cheyenne, Wyoming, May 8, 1898, and went to the Philippines.
