Description	:	William Way married, first, Betty Thomas, 23 December 1819, in Randolph County, Indiana. He married, second, Mrs. Mahala Mason, the widow of Thomas Mason, on 18 August 1864, in Sauk County, Wisconsin. He and Mahala were in Gratiot, Lafayette County, Wisconsin when the 1870 census was taken, but two years later they moved to Iowa. William Way of Reeve Township, Franklin County, Iowa, wrote his will on 23 June 1873. He said that he was 78 years old. His legatees were his grandson, C. O.
