Description	:	Mr. Willie Smith Parrish, 66, of Route 4, Chatham, VA went to be with his Lord at Memorial Hospital in Danville, VA. He was a life long resident of Pittsylvania County, VA and a farmer. He was active in the affairs of Weal Presbyterian Church where he served as a ruling elder and superintendent of the Sunday School department. He married Angie Lee Wells on November 29, 1924. He is survived by his wife, one son Kermit Parrish of Danville and two daughers Mrs. James A Thompson of Gretna, VA and Miss Betty Jo Parrish of the home. He also leaves seven brothers... Funeral services were held at Weal Presbyterian Church with the Reverend James McNair officiating. Interment was in the Wells Family cemetery near Callands, VA. Pallbearers were S C Powell, Ernest C Fox, Herman J Motley, Ryland Motley, Carl Hutson, Albert Clay Shelton, Jim Giles and Bedford Rigney.
