Description	:	Mrs. Algie Lee Parrish, 79, went to be with her Lord in Danville Memorial Hospital. A former resident of Chatham, she resided with a daughter at Ringgold, VA for several years. She was the wife of Willie Smith Parrish who died in 1968. She as a daughter of the late Peter Wells and Nannie Palmer Wells and a member of Weal Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. James A Thompson, Jr of Gretna, VA and Mrs. David Stump of Ringgold and one son William Kermit Parrish of Dry Fork, VA. Funeral services were conducted at Weal Presbyterian Church with Reverend James M McNair officiating. Burial was in the Wells Family Cemetery in Callands, VA. Scott Funeral Home served the family.
