Born October 10, 1910, in Accident, MD, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Sarah (Beitzel) Zinkan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Neil R. Bigelow. Mrs. Bigelow was a bookkeeper for Garfinkel's Department Store. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Accident and also First Trinity Lutheran Church, Washington, where she volunteered many hours of her time. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Lehmann officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
