Description	:	Wilma Kester. 81, was born Aug. 3, 1911, to Ross and Mary Caroline Kendrick King near Hawleyville in Taylor County and died Feb. 8, 1993. at Mercy Care Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Services were held February 11 from the United Disciples of Christ Church in Prescott. The Rev. Jeanne Groom officiated. Burial was In the Guss Cemetery. Mrs. Kester grew up on farms and received her education In Taylor County. She moved to Adams County in March 1935. She married Ronald J. Mrs. Kester grew up on farms and received her education In Taylor County. She moved to Adams County in March 1935. She married Ronald J. Kester on April 2, 1941, in Maryville, Mo., and was a housekeeper. When Ronald returned home from the service they bought a farm southeast of Prescott. It was here they raised their family until later moving to Prescott. Her hobbles included traveling, gardening, crocheting, and sending cards to her friends. She was vice president of the Prescott High School Boosters arid she often traveled with the band to sports activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Delmar and Wilber King, and one In infancy; and a sister-in-law, Nellie King. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary (husband Darrell) Riley of Bennington, Neb., and Norma Morrow of Manchester, Tenn.; three brothers, Delbert (wife Kathryn) King of Clarinda, Cleave (wife Opal) King of Evans. Colo., and Cliff (wife Neva) King of Villisca; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Casket bearers were Ricky King, Mickey King, David D. Riley, James W. Morrow, Michael D.
