She was married to James Dortch on October 17, 1942. Wynell was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Aaron Seay, Maurice Seay, Harold Seay, and one daghter: Carlene Cook on February 9, 2000. She is survived by her husband: Rev. Wynell was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Aaron Seay, Maurice Seay, Harold Seay, and one daghter: Carlene Cook on February 9, 2000. She is survived by her husband: Rev. James Henry Dortch; two sons and their wives: Danny and Rita Dortch of Rector, Jim and Linda Dortch of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters: Lurene Vangilder of Rector, Arkansas, Helen Donaldson of Kennett, Missouri, Betty Crews of Neosho, Missouri; one brother: Larry Seay of Oklahoma; six grand-children, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Wynell and her husband became Christians and surrendered to God's call into the ministry on October 29, 1945. She served as a faithful helpmate until the time of her death. She was influential in the spiritual lives of many people and was a loving, caring wife, mother, grand-mother, great grandmother, and mother-in- law to her family. A celebration of her life was held at the Rector First General Baptist Church. Burial was at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
