Read More	Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and wife, Yvonne Virginia Paine left the earthly world on August 4, 2018 to be with her husband, George, in eternal happiness. We all knew she would miss him beyond words when he passed away on July 1, but she seemed to know it wouldn’t be long without him. Their love was a testament to their children and grandchildren who were taught how to respect marriage vows and show perseverance even through tough times. Yvonne was born May 14, 1937 in Eureka, Montana to Myrtle and Floyd Carvey and was born sixth of 11 children. She learned the value of family and found out at a young age how to be a caretaker of family. Von met the love of her life, George and they married on November 5, 1953 in Kootenai County in Idaho. When George entered the Navy, they were stationed down in Coronado, California where Von began working in the restaurant business. She had a restaurant of her own in Coronado, California named Von’s. They brought into this world four children. The Navy career kept them in California for many years but their hearts were in Montana. They moved back to Eureka in 1972 where they opened the well-known Von’s Cafe’. Years and years of Lincoln County High School students spent their lunch hours eating across the street. Von liked supplying a popular ‘hang-out’ for the kids and fixing them a great burger and fries. Many coffee-goers spent hours visiting in Von’s as she prepared for the noon rush. Von knew the value of hard work but she was also a savvy shopper as many of her kids and grandkids have great memories of coupons arriving in the mail; she always knew where the good deal was for groceries. Von loved planning family get-togethers for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and the Fourth of July. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She always made a point of bringing everyone together when she could. She was the glue of the family, always making sure everyone was included and no one was left out. She had a generous heart of gold. She was the most giving woman, always helping others out whether you were family or not. Von would be the first to tell each of us to be kind, “God would want that.” She prayed for anyone and everyone no matter the need. We know that in heaven, Von is playing bingo and not just one card, more like 18 at a time. She loved her Bingo friends and her church family. Between reading bible verses, she watched her favorite television game shows. Von was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George, her parents and her step-father, Louis Rowe, her daughter Karen Kuchenski, her brothers, Nick Carvey, Beryl Carvey, Floyd “Tog” Carvey, and Clyde Carvey and her sisters, Lois Workman, Ida “Pixie” Hoerner, Melba Cain, and Patty Keller. Von is survived by two brothers; two sons and daughters-in-law; one daughter and son-in-law; thirteen grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held at the Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Eureka, Montana on Wednesday, August 8 from 1-7 p.m. Von’s funeral service will be Friday, August 10 at the Chapel of Praise at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a luncheon.
