Obituary The News, Frederick, Maryland, 19 January 1994 Mrs. Zada F. Bodmer, 92, formerly of 19430 Fisher Ave., Poolesville, died Monday, Jan. 17, at Homewood Retirement Center, Frederick. She was the wife of Charles Roszier Bodmer, who died in 1966. Born Aug. 21, 1901, in Macanie, Va., she was a daughter of the late Homer and Cora Fry Ryman. Mrs. Bodmer was a devoted member of Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church. She served in all areas of local church work, as well as in the zone and district areas of the United Methodist Women. She also was active in community organizations, including the P.T.A. and the Upper Montgomery County Fire Auxiliary. Mrs. Bodmer is survived by two children, Charles Bodmer and his wife Fern, of Fairfield, Pa., and Pearl Lodge and her husband Lee, of Frederick; one brother, Norman Ryman of Mount Rainier; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Stockton Myerly of Frederick and Mrs. Helen Bodmer of Seneca; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
