Salina Journal – May 19, 2000 Zepherine Desilet CONCORDIA — Zepherine Desilet, 96, Concordia, formerly of Aurora, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. Mrs. Desilet was born Zepherine Morrissette on July 4, 1903, at St. Joseph and was a resident of Concordia since 1977. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the Aurora area, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, and the Catholic Daughters of America and a former member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi O. in 1985; and a daughter, Dolores Desilet. Survivors include two daughters, Bernadine Reel of Wichita and Darlyne Burchfiel of Rochester, Minn.; four sons, Romaine of Duncan, Okla., Larry of Independence, Mo., Morris of Wichita and Alvin Lee of Tampa, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Aurora, the Rev. LeRoy Metro, Monsignor Armand Girard and the Rev. Steven Heina officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or Mount Joseph Senior Community. Concordia.
