Description	:	Sunday evening, Z. A. Williamson passed away at his home in Albion, aged 77 years, 3 months and 15 days. He had been in failing health for some time. Z. A. Williamson was born in Delaware County, Iowa, February 22nd, 1854. He was the son of Thomas N. and Parthena S. Williamson, the third child of a family of seven. Read More	Sunday evening, Z. A. Williamson passed away at his home in Albion, aged 77 years, 3 months and 15 days. He had been in failing health for some time. Z. A. Williamson was born in Delaware County, Iowa, February 22nd, 1854. He was the son of Thomas N. and Parthena S. Williamson, the third child of a family of seven. In the year 1875 he was united in marriage to Louise P. Bailey and to this union was born one son, Bertrand B. Williamson. In 1878 he came to Nebraska with his wife and small son and settled on a homestead in Boone county. His wife, Louise, passed away in the year 1885. He was united in marriage to Annette Kilbourn in 1888. She passed away at Albion, Nebraska, September 29, 1926. Mr. Williamson was a very ambitious, hard working man, until his later years when failing health interfered with his usual activities. For a number of years he engaged in the real estate business, and dealt in livestock. He was for many years a very successful auctioneer. He was an exemplary citizen and served his school district as a member of the board, served on the city council and as a member of the board of county commissioners. Mr. Williamson was actively interested in church affairs until his affliction of recent years prohibited his active duty. His son, Bertrand B., lived for twenty years on a farm near Loretto. He preceded his father in death by a year and six months. Grief over the loss of his only son seemed to cause his health to fail more rapidly until he passed away June 7th. He leaves to mourn his loss two sisters, Mrs. Charles Culver of this city and Clara of Texas; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eleanor M. Williamson, of this city, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at the Congregational church, and interment made in Rose Hill cemetery. He was held in high esteem by everyone and the business houses of Albion were closed during the funeral as a token of respect for one who had contributed so much to the upbuilding of the town and community.
