Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Zula Spargur were held Saturday at the Sutphen Funeal Home at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. M. A. Rangoon. Mrs. Spargur died Tuesday, April 14, 1953. Singing at the services was by Mrs. Herman Christie accompanied by Mrs. Eve Eno and in charge of the flowers were Mrs. John Franzen, and Mrs. Max Posten. The pall bearers were Ronald Darold, Ray Darold, Eric Nelson, Dennis Neal, Albert Neal, and John Frazee and interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Zola Elizabeth Kelley was born in Villisca on October 19, 1878, one of twin girls, Zula and Lulu, the first twins born in the town of Villisca. She attended the Villisca public schools and graduated in 1895. Later she attended Western Normal College at Shenandoah and taught school in Iowa and Wyoming for eight years. She was united in marriage to Frank P. Saprgur on October 18, 1904, and to this union four children were born, Mrs. Clyde W. Arbuckle, Villisca, Sam L. Spargur, Rapid City, South Dakota, John L. Spargur, San Bernadino, California, and Mrs. Clint Wolfe, Ucross, Wyoming. Mrs. Spargur lived in Villisca all her life. She was a member of the Baptist Church, a charter member of the Rebekah Lodge, and a member of the Villisca School Board for six years. Until she became ill she took a very interest and active part in the community. Besides her four children She is survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Laura E.
