Description	:	A place of worship existed on the site in Saxons times and the present building was built at the end of the 11th century. The Tower added in 1182 and the chancel in 1252. When the new church was built in the village, the intention was to close St. Petrock but this sparked off a National Protest in 1878 and the church was saved from closure. It eventually became redundant on 25th November 1969 and 20 months later became the first church to be placed in the care of the Redundant Churches Fund now known as the Churches Conservation Trust.
