Her maiden name was Addie Ramsey (sic. Adda May Ramsay) and she was the only daughter and youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Ramsey (sic. Ramsay), of Blackhawk township. She was born and grew to womanhood in this county, and at the time of her death was about twenty-nine years old. She was married to John Knight twelve years ago, and to them were born two children, a boy now eleven years old and a girl now nine. Her husband also survives her. Mrs. Knight had been in ppoor health for some time and during the six weeks of her actual illness she suffered greatly. Her death will be very generally mourned among the people who knew her best, for she had lived this life well and performed all its duties faithfull. She had six brothers all of whom live in this county, John and Frank Boyd, half brothers, Wm., Ed., Robert, and Harry Ramsey (sic. Ramsay). The funeral services were conducted by Mr. C. E. Ward, of this city, Monday morning, at the Moyer church, and the interment was made in the evegreen (sic. Evergreen) cemetery in this city.
