Elliott Answers Final Call This community was saddened on Monday evening by the announcement of the passing away of Mrs. George T. Elliott of this city, after an illness extending over the past few months, from heart trouble. For the past two or three weeks Mrs. Elliott's condition had been serious, and for ten days it had been regarded as critical. Mrs. Elliott was known by nearly every resident of this city, as she had resided here over 30 years. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and numbered her friends only by her acquaintance. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Jenkinson, with whom she had made her home the past two years. Agnes Stirling was born May 21, 1870, at Forfar, Scotland, where she spent her early life and where she was united in marriage to George T. Elliott on June 27, 1891. They came to the United States and Chouteau county in 1910. The husband passed away on May 7, 1927, when he was drowned crossing the Missouri river just below the city. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Annie McKenzie of Dell, Mont., Frank Elliott and Mrs. J. W. Jenkinson, both of this city. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and by three great-grandchildren. A surviving brother and sister, John Stirling and Jessie Grant, reside in Scotland. Surviving also is an uncle, Joseph Stirling, of Loma, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held from the Louther chapel on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Ross J. Allen, pastor of the Christian Church at Great Falls, an old friend of the family. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
