Description	:	Albert Clippinger Mason was born in Dry Grove, Illinois, December 17, 1849, and died at his son's home in Phillipsburg, Kansas, July 29, 1932, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 12 days. He came with his parents to Iowa when two years old and settled in Atica, Iowa; and was raised to manhood there. He was the youngest of nine children of whom all are now dead. Read More	Albert Clippinger Mason was born in Dry Grove, Illinois, December 17, 1849, and died at his son's home in Phillipsburg, Kansas, July 29, 1932, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 12 days. He came with his parents to Iowa when two years old and settled in Atica, Iowa; and was raised to manhood there. He was the youngest of nine children of whom all are now dead. He was converted at a meeting held on Rope Creek and at that time united with the Evangelical church. He was married to Lavina Atkins and moved to Harlan County, NE, in 1877; settling on a homestead on Rope Creek. To this union nine children were born: Albert Mason, of Phillipsburg, KS; Wm. Mason of Alma, NE; Dick Mason, of Stamford, NE; and W. C. Mason, of Lincoln, NE. His wife and five children proceeded him to the great beyond. He leaves 25 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Evangelical church in Alma, in charge of Rev. F. C. Weber and interment was made in the Alma cemetery. This obituary was taken from the Harlan County Journal in Alma, NB. It would have been for the week following July 29, 1932.
