McConnelee conducting the services, assisted by the Rev. Arthur Soundy. Burial was in the Minden cemetery. Albert D. Nelson was born, on a farm southeast of Minden, on April 30, 1886, and passed away November 28, 1937 being at the time of death 51 years, 6 months and 28 days old. Albert was a great lover of his family; and took great pride in their achievements. Thorough nearly 26 years of married life he has been a man thinking first of his family and lastly of himself. This was particularly shown in his last sickness, which was of about a six-months duration, as he was always seeking to shield others from pain and trouble. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas D. and Kathrine Marie Nelson. Those who survive to mourn his passing are his wife and children, two sisters, Anna Bayers, of Minden, Nebraska and Mrs. Mattie Nielsen of San Francisco, California; two brothers, Chris Nelson of Minden, Nebraska and John Nelson.
