He lived one year in Chicago, Ill., and six years in Plaino, Ill., before coming to Kearney County. The deceased lived in Kearney County where he farmed southeast of Minden until 1937 in which year his wife preceded him in death. Mr Nelsen was married to Anna Lindblad August 4, 1897 at ??reston. In 1942, he went to California, where he worked for 12 years, returning to Minden, October 19, 1954 to live with his son, Wallace, who was then living in Minden, moving with him to Lincoln. Mr. Nelsen entered Bethany Peoples' Home about eight weeks ago, where he passed away October 5 after a lingering Illness, age 86. The deceased was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and a grandson. Left to mourn is his passing are: a daughter, Isobelle Kauftelt of Minden; two sons, Wallace of Lincoln and Glenn of Long Beach, Calif.; six granddaughters, and nine great grandchildren and friends. Services were held at the Lav??a Chapel, Sunday. October 7th with Rev. Allison A Hansen officiating. Burial was at the Minden cemetery.
