Description	:	Albert Ingermann Passed Away News reached this city last Friday that Albert Ingermann, a well known and respected pioneer of his county and a resident of Bolinas, had passed at Palo Alto where he had been visiting relatives. The cause of death was due to heart failure. The remains were brought to this city to Sawyer's Undertaking Parlors, and all that was earthly of Mr. Ingermann was taken to Bolinas and laid to rest. The cause of death was due to heart failure. The remains were brought to this city to Sawyer's Undertaking Parlors, and all that was earthly of Mr. Ingermann was taken to Bolinas and laid to rest. He was born in Minden, Prussia, in 1831, and was the son of Charles and Fredrika Ingermann. At the age of 11, he left his home and started on a sea voyage, leading the life of a seafaring man until he was 22 years of age, when he came to California. After a few years of wandering he settled in Bolinas, and bought the sloop "Mary Ann," carrying on a freight business between San Francisco and Bolinas, until 1866 when he bought the farm on which he lived until his death. In 1859 he was married to Miss Anna Strain, who lived but seven years after her marriage, leaving him four children, Samuel, Irwin, Eliza, and Anna. Some time after his wife died, he again married, this time to Mrs. Mary Hoyle, an English woman. The death came as a surprise to the family and the community. The sorrowing family has the deepest sympathy of the entire county.
