Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Monday, September 29, 2014, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur of which he was a member 78 years. Officiating, Rev. Boyd Jackson, Rev. John Bryant, Rev. Tim Downing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was a native of Randolph County and a lifetime farmer and retired from Showell Poultry. Cleo owned and operated Circle C Angus Farm, was a lifetime member of American Angus Association and also Randolph Livestock Association and NC Cattlemans' Association. Survivors: daughters, Martha Kimrey, Nancy York, and husband, Joe, both of Asheboro, Betty Cain, of Ramseur, Kathy Brown, and husband, Mike, of Greensboro, sons, Reece Cain, and wife, Nancy, Reggie Cain, and wife, Vivian, both of Asheboro, sister, Hallie Johnson, of Asheboro, brother, Bobby Cain, of Carthage, grandchildren, Jeff Cain, and wife, Natalie, of Ramseur, Theresa Downing, and husband, Tim, of Middleburg, FL., Kevin Cain, Angela Kimrey, Amy Kimrey, all of Asheboro, Doug Kimrey, of Randleman, Brad Cain, of Charlotte, Jennifer Childs, and husband, Tim, of Sanford, Dr. Brandon Cain, of Iowa, Heather Caldwell, and husband, James, of Holly Springs , NC., great grandchildren, Kasey Cain, Madison Childs, Wilson Childs, Paison Cain, Fallon Cain, Anna Caldwell, Wesley Caldwell, Olivia Poole.
