He has been in failing health the past few years, but sincerely ill the last two weeks. Mr. Kethcart was born December 1, 1866, to Robert and Harriet Kethcart, in Auglaize county, Ohio. He has spent most of his life in Kansas. He was 83 years, 6 months and 26 days at the time of his death. He has been in failing health the past few years, but sincerely ill the last two weeks. Mr. Kethcart was born December 1, 1866, to Robert and Harriet Kethcart, in Auglaize county, Ohio. He has spent most of his life in Kansas. He was 83 years, 6 months and 26 days at the time of his death. He was married to Mathilda Keehl at Swanton, Nebraska, on December 3, 1893. To this union nine children were born. One daughter, Gladys Irene, passed away March 1, 1925. His wife and eight children are left to mourn his death: Oral W. of Beloit, Kansas; Charles R. of Stanton, Nebraska; Dewey A. of Eugene, Oregon; Marie Hirsch, of Simpson, Kansas; Boyd F. of Montehello,(sic) California; Sarah Knutson of Niobrara, Nebraska; Woodrow M. of Beloit, Kansas; Colean Stafford, of Hutchinson, Kansas. He also leaves one sister, Ella Sweaney of Montehello, (sic) California; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Griffith Funeral Home in Glasco Thursday morning, June 29, 1950, at 10:00 o'clock, the Rev. C.H. Larson conducting the services. A quartet composed of Mrs. Lizzie Sams, Mrs. Norene Klemm, Mr. Louthan, and Mr. Clifton Frances sang "Rock of Ages" and "Does Jesus Care," accompanied by Mrs. Katie Simmons. Pallbearers were Earl Shay, Lyle Lienen, Charles Underhill, Jr., Glen Vernon, Joe Jindra, and C.W. Daugherty. Flowerbearers were Mrs. Earl Shay and Mrs. Joe Jindra.
