Burial will be in the Elbert, Colorado cemetery. He was 84. Born in Elbert on July 12, 1882, Mr. Elsner was reared in that Eastern Colorado farming community of Ramah. He was cashier of the State Bank of Ramah and later was deputy county clerk of El Paso County, retiring in 1945. He lived in Colorado Springs since 1936. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a charter member of the Ramah Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs Clara Elsner of the family home, 2310 W. Platte ave, Colorado Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Vida Culvern of Tulsa and Mrs. Lilian Phillips of Silver Springs, MD; three brothers, Richard of Elbert, Carl of Elizabeth, and Francis of Denver; and one sister , Mrs Ida Bunney of Denver.
