William Kamke officiating. (1966) Alfred Joseph Tesch was born March 12, 1903 in Rock Township, the son of August and Wilhelmine Tesch. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran church. He was married to Ethel Stehn on September 5, 1935 at First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. They established their home on a farm near Grafton where he lived the rest of his life. Mr. Tesch became seriously ill and died on August 9th at the age of 63 years, four months and 28 days. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; one son, Daryl of Mason City; two daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. George Katcavage) of South St. Paul, Minn.; and Marlene at home; one brother, Fred Tesch of Lyle, Minn; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, Eitel, and his twin brother, Herman. Pallbearers were Clarence Wilde, Lawrence Rosenberg, Arthur Wilde, Wilbur Tesch, Arthur Trettin and Eugene Wilde. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery with Rev.
