Description	:	Mrs. Hattie Blanche Wells Holland, 90, Route 1, Dry Fork, VA went to be with her Lord at Memorial Hospital in Danville, VA, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been in declining health for three years. She was a daughter of the late Peter Thomas Wells and Nannie Bell Palmer Wells. Her entire life was spent in the Callands and Whitmell communities of Pittsylvania County, VA. She married the late Charlie Franklin Holland on November 30, 1916. Other survivors include two brothers Thomas Wells of Danville and Herman Wells of Richmond, VA and three sisters Virginia Turner and Elizabeth Turner, both of Martinsville, VA and Frances Mills of Danville and 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Whitmell Christian Church. Interment was in the family cemetery in Callands. Wrenn-Yeatts Funeral Home, Westover Chapel, Danville served the family.
